Cancel your onX auto-renewal, then upload a screenshot of the confirmation — onX’s “Membership Canceled” screen or your phone’s subscription page. A future “access ends” date is fine. If any payment details are visible, redact them first.

Submissions are reviewed by a human; we may decline screenshots we can’t verify. The free year starts on approval and doesn’t auto-renew into a paid plan — no payment method is collected. Screenshots are deleted within 60 days of submission. Baseline Maps is not affiliated with onX Maps, Inc.
FAQ
The details.
- Do I lose my onX access when I cancel?
- No. Cancelling auto-renewal just stops the next charge — onX keeps working until your paid period runs out. Your screenshot can show a future "access ends" date; that’s expected and it still qualifies.
- What should the screenshot show?
- The cancellation confirmation — onX’s "Membership Canceled" screen, or the Apple/Google subscription page showing the membership cancelled. If any payment details are visible, please redact them before uploading.
- When does the free year start?
- The day we approve your submission. You get full access to everything — fishing, hunting, foraging, offline maps — for 12 months, no charge, no card required.
- What happens after the year?
- We’ll email you 30 days before it ends. If you like the app, it’s $34.99/yr — about a third of one onX state. If not, you walk away and owe nothing.
- What happens to my screenshot?
- It’s used only to verify the cancellation and is deleted from our systems within 60 days.
