3.6 Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Baseline Maps does not directly process refunds for subscription purchases. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.
3.7 Price Changes. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If we change pricing, we will provide notice in accordance with app store requirements. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice. Your continued subscription after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. If you do not agree to a price change, you must cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
3.8 Promotional and Legacy Pricing. Certain users may receive complimentary access, discounted pricing, or other promotional offers ("Promotional Terms"). Promotional Terms are subject to the specific conditions communicated at the time of the offer. The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotional offers with reasonable notice to affected users. Promotional pricing honored at the time of subscription will remain in effect for the duration specified in the offer terms.
4. No Professional Advice
The information provided through the App is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute:
- Professional safety guidance or emergency services

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
ALL DATA, FORECASTS, RATINGS, AND INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP ARE INHERENTLY UNRELIABLE AND SHOULD NEVER BE USED AS THE SOLE OR PRIMARY BASIS FOR ANY DECISION, PARTICULARLY THOSE INVOLVING PERSONAL SAFETY.
- River flow data may be delayed by minutes, hours, or days from actual conditions
- Forecasts are probabilistic predictions that frequently differ from actual outcomes
- Fishing condition ratings are automated algorithmic assessments with no guarantee of accuracy
- Sensor equipment used by data providers may malfunction, provide erroneous readings, or go offline without notice
- Emergency conditions, closures, or hazards may not be reflected in the App
- We have no control over third-party data sources and cannot verify their accuracy
YOU MUST ALWAYS VERIFY ALL CONDITIONS THROUGH OFFICIAL SOURCES, LOCAL AUTHORITIES, AND DIRECT OBSERVATION BEFORE ENGAGING IN ANY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. NEVER RELY SOLELY ON THIS APP FOR SAFETY-CRITICAL DECISIONS.
7. Fishing Regulations Disclaimer
The App may display fishing regulation information for user convenience. THIS INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND MAY BE INACCURATE, OUTDATED, OR INCOMPLETE.
- Fishing regulations are subject to emergency changes, closures, and modifications at any time
- Regulations vary by species, location, season, and method and are highly complex
- You are solely and entirely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable fishing laws, licensing requirements, and regulations
- Violation of fishing regulations may result in significant fines, penalties, and criminal prosecution
- Baseline Maps assumes no liability whatsoever for any fines, penalties, confiscation of equipment, or legal consequences resulting from your reliance on any regulation information displayed in the App
Always verify current regulations directly with the official source before fishing. In the United States, that is your state's fish and wildlife agency. In Canada, it is your provincial or territorial agency and, for tidal (saltwater) fishing and salmon fishing in fresh water, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). In British Columbia, the official sources are the Province of British Columbia (BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis and in-season regulation changes) and DFO (BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Guide and DFO Fishery Notices). See the Canada paragraph in Section 7A.
7A. Hunting Regulations Disclaimer
The App may display hunting regulation information, season dates, bag limits, and Game Management Unit (GMU) information for user convenience. THIS INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR REFERENCE ONLY AND MAY BE INACCURATE, OUTDATED, OR INCOMPLETE.
- Hunting regulations are subject to emergency changes, closures, and modifications at any time without notice
- Regulations vary by species, weapon type, location, season, GMU, and permit type and are highly complex
- Season dates, bag limits, legal harvest requirements, and legal shooting hours shown in the App may be incorrect or outdated
- You are solely and entirely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable hunting laws, licensing requirements, tag requirements, permits, and regulations
- You are solely responsible for obtaining all required hunting licenses, tags, permits, and stamps before hunting
- Violation of hunting regulations may result in significant fines, penalties, loss of hunting privileges, confiscation of equipment and harvested game, and criminal prosecution
- Baseline Maps assumes no liability whatsoever for any fines, penalties, confiscation of equipment or game, loss of hunting privileges, or legal consequences resulting from your reliance on any regulation, season, or GMU information displayed in the App
Legal Shooting Hours: The App may display calculated legal shooting hours (sunrise/sunset times) for hunting. These times are algorithmic estimates and may not account for local geographic features, time zone edge cases, or state- or province-specific calculation methods. You MUST independently verify legal shooting hours using official state, provincial, or federal fish and wildlife resources before hunting. Hunting outside legal hours is a violation that may result in fines, loss of hunting privileges, and criminal prosecution.
Always verify current regulations directly with your state's fish and wildlife agency (United States) or your provincial or territorial wildlife agency (Canada) before hunting.
Canada: The App is not an official source of Canadian hunting, fishing, or land-access regulations, and nothing in the App is published by or on behalf of any Canadian government. In British Columbia, hunting and trapping are regulated by the Province of British Columbia under the Wildlife Act (see the BC Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis and the Limited Entry Hunting Regulations Synopsis); freshwater angling is regulated by the Province (see the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis and in-season regulation changes); and tidal (saltwater) fishing, and salmon fishing in fresh water, are regulated by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) under the federal Fisheries Act (see the BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Guide and DFO Fishery Notices). Provincial and federal rules can both apply to the same water. Season dates, bag limits, closures, legal shooting hours, and area boundaries in the App may be incomplete or out of date; you must confirm them with the official synopsis, DFO notices, and the applicable licence before you hunt or fish. Non-residents of British Columbia must be accompanied by a licensed guide outfitter, an assistant guide outfitter, or the holder of a Permit to Accompany to hunt big game; Limited Entry Hunting authorizations are available only to B.C. residents; all hunters and anglers require a Fish and Wildlife ID and the applicable provincial or federal licence. Firearms brought into Canada must be declared to the Canada Border Services Agency.
7B. Private Land, Trespassing, and Land Access Disclaimer
THIS IS A CRITICAL WARNING REGARDING LAND ACCESS AND TRESPASSING.
GMU BOUNDARIES DO NOT INDICATE LAND OWNERSHIP OR ACCESS RIGHTS. Game Management Unit boundaries shown in the App are administrative hunting boundaries only and have NO relationship to property ownership, public access, or your legal right to enter any land.
- The App does NOT accurately display private versus public land boundaries. Any land ownership or public land data shown is for general reference only and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
- You MUST independently verify land ownership before entering any property. Do not rely on the App to determine whether land is public or private.
- You MUST obtain explicit written permission from landowners before entering private property. Verbal permission may not be sufficient in all jurisdictions.
- Many areas that appear to be public land may contain private inholdings, easements, or access restrictions not shown in the App
- Public lands may have seasonal closures, restricted access areas, or permit requirements not reflected in the App
- Trespassing is an offense in every U.S. state and Canadian province — a criminal offense in most U.S. states, and in British Columbia an offence under the provincial Trespass Act and Wildlife Act that may also give rise to civil or criminal liability — and may result in arrest, fines, jail time, civil liability, loss of hunting privileges, and confiscation of equipment and harvested game
- In Canada, entering private land, First Nations reserve lands, or closed Crown land without authority is an offence under provincial law; reserve and treaty settlement lands are not public land, and entry and hunting require the permission of the Nation concerned
- Trespassing while armed or while hunting may result in enhanced criminal penalties
- You may be held civilly liable for any damage caused while trespassing on private property
BASELINE MAPS ASSUMES ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR:
- Any trespassing violations, arrests, fines, or criminal charges resulting from your entry onto private land
- Any civil claims, lawsuits, or damages arising from your entry onto private or restricted land
- Any inaccuracies in land ownership, public land boundaries, or access information displayed in the App
- Any consequences resulting from your reliance on GMU boundaries, land data, or mapping information
- Any confiscation of equipment, vehicles, or harvested game resulting from trespassing violations
IT IS YOUR SOLE AND COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY to verify land ownership, obtain all necessary permissions, and ensure you have legal access before entering any land for hunting or any other purpose.
7C. Ballistic Calculator & Firearms Tools Disclaimer
THE APP INCLUDES BALLISTIC CALCULATORS, TRAJECTORY ESTIMATORS, DOPE (DATA ON PREVIOUS ENGAGEMENTS) REFERENCES, RANGE CARDS, SHOT PLACEMENT GUIDES, AND OTHER FIREARMS-RELATED TOOLS. THESE TOOLS ARE PROVIDED FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
- All ballistic calculations are theoretical estimates generated by mathematical models. Real-world bullet trajectory is affected by countless variables that no calculator can fully account for, including but not limited to barrel harmonics, ammunition lot variation, atmospheric micro-conditions, and individual firearm characteristics
- You MUST verify all ballistic data against manufacturer-published load data, your own range testing, and direct observation. Never rely solely on the App's calculations for any shot
- Drag models, ballistic coefficients, muzzle velocities, and cartridge data shown in the App are reference values that may not match your specific firearm, ammunition lot, barrel length, or shooting conditions
- Species vital zone dimensions and minimum energy thresholds are general references and are not legal requirements. Shot placement decisions are your sole responsibility
- Transonic warnings, wind estimates, and environmental corrections are approximations and must be validated through actual range testing
- The App is not a substitute for proper firearms training, safety instruction, or supervised range practice. Always follow all firearms safety rules at all times
- Scope tracking, turret adjustment, and zero data are records you maintain — the App does not verify their accuracy
BASELINE MAPS ASSUMES NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR:
- Any injury, death, or property damage resulting from reliance on ballistic calculations, trajectory data, or any firearms-related tool in the App
- Missed shots, wounded game, or unethical harvest resulting from inaccurate calculations
- Any consequences arising from incorrect scope adjustments, zero data, or DOPE records maintained in the App
- Any damage to firearms, optics, or equipment from use of load data or cartridge information displayed in the App
YOU ARE SOLELY AND ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FIREARMS SAFETY, SHOT DECISIONS, AND AMMUNITION SELECTION AT ALL TIMES.
7D. Foraging & Wild Edible Identification Disclaimer
THIS IS A CRITICAL WARNING REGARDING WILD PLANT, MUSHROOM, AND BERRY IDENTIFICATION.
MISIDENTIFICATION OF WILD MUSHROOMS, PLANTS, AND BERRIES CAN CAUSE SEVERE ILLNESS, ORGAN FAILURE, AND DEATH. SOME TOXIC SPECIES ARE NEARLY IDENTICAL IN APPEARANCE TO EDIBLE SPECIES AND CAN ONLY BE RELIABLY DISTINGUISHED BY TRAINED EXPERTS USING PHYSICAL EXAMINATION, SPORE PRINTS, OR LABORATORY ANALYSIS.
- The App MUST NOT be used as your sole or primary identification resource. Descriptions, edibility ratings, season calendars, and look-alike warnings are for general reference only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or insufficient to distinguish edible from toxic species
- Photographs and written descriptions cannot capture all identifying features necessary for safe identification, including smell, spore color, texture, habitat micro-conditions, and developmental stage
- Edibility can vary by geographic region, growing conditions, preparation method, individual sensitivity, and species variation — information in the App may not account for these factors
- You MUST consult trained mycologists, experienced foragers, or authoritative field guides before consuming any wild mushroom, plant, or berry. When in doubt, do not eat it
- Some species are only toxic when consumed raw, in combination with certain foods or alcohol, or in large quantities — the App may not capture all toxicity conditions
- Foraging regulations vary by jurisdiction, land ownership, and species — you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable foraging laws and permits
- Allergic reactions can occur even with correctly identified edible species. Always consume a small test quantity first and wait 24 hours before consuming larger amounts of any wild food
BASELINE MAPS ASSUMES ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR:
- Any poisoning, illness, allergic reaction, organ damage, hospitalization, or death resulting from consumption of any wild mushroom, plant, berry, or other foraged item identified or referenced using the App
- Any misidentification of species, whether due to inaccurate App data, incomplete descriptions, or user error
- Any fines or legal consequences from foraging in prohibited areas or harvesting protected species
IF YOU SUSPECT MUSHROOM OR PLANT POISONING, CALL POISON CONTROL OR EMERGENCY SERVICES (911) IMMEDIATELY. UNITED STATES: 1-800-222-1222. CANADA: 1-844-POISON-X (1-844-764-7669). BRITISH COLUMBIA: 1-800-567-8911.
7E. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The App may use artificial intelligence ("AI") to generate fishing reports, hunting intelligence, condition analyses, and other content ("AI-Generated Content"). AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NEVER BE RELIED UPON FOR SAFETY-CRITICAL DECISIONS.
- AI-Generated Content may be inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or entirely fabricated. AI systems can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information ("hallucinations") without any indication of error
- AI-Generated Content does not constitute advice from a professional guide, biologist, meteorologist, or any other expert
- AI models analyze data snapshots and may not reflect current, real-time conditions, emergency closures, or recent regulation changes
- AI-generated fishing or hunting recommendations are not guarantees of success and should not substitute for your own judgment, experience, and direct observation of conditions
- Questions and contextual data you provide when requesting AI-Generated Content (including your location, species selections, and custom questions) are transmitted to our servers for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details
Baseline Maps assumes no liability for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from reliance on AI-Generated Content, including but not limited to regulation violations, unsafe conditions, unsuccessful outings, or personal injury.
7F. Hunt Planner, Draw Calculator & Recommendation Disclaimer
The App may include hunt planning tools, controlled hunt draw probability calculators, and algorithmic hunt recommendations. THESE TOOLS ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY.
- Draw odds estimates are based on historical data and mathematical models. Actual draw results depend on the number and composition of applicants in any given year, which cannot be predicted
- Preference/bonus point calculations are estimates and may not accurately reflect your current point balance, eligibility, or the issuing agency's point system rules
- Hunt recommendations are generated by algorithms, not by professional guides or wildlife biologists. Scoring factors (harvest success, difficulty, trophy potential, etc.) are approximations based on available data
- Season dates, permit numbers, bag limits, and application deadlines shown in the planner may be outdated or incorrect
- You MUST verify all hunt application information directly with the applicable state, provincial, or federal fish and wildlife agency before submitting applications or spending preference points
- Controlled hunt data, applicant counts, and success rates are historical snapshots and may not reflect current-year availability
BASELINE MAPS ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR:
- Wasted preference points, bonus points, or application fees resulting from reliance on draw calculators or recommendations
- Missed application deadlines or incorrect application submissions
- Unsuccessful draw results or hunting outcomes
- Any inaccuracies in historical draw data, odds calculations, or hunt scoring
Always verify current application requirements, deadlines, and regulations with your state or provincial wildlife agency before applying.
7G. Survival Content & Instructional Materials Disclaimer
The App may include survival guides, instructional articles, knot-tying tutorials, and other educational content. THIS CONTENT IS FOR GENERAL EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, CERTIFICATION, OR EMERGENCY SERVICES.
- Survival techniques, emergency procedures, and wilderness skills described in the App require proper training and practice to execute safely — reading alone is insufficient
- Information about venomous wildlife, hazardous conditions, and emergency scenarios may be incomplete, region-specific, or outdated
- Instructional content (knot tying, rigging, etc.) may reference third-party videos or materials not created or verified by Baseline Maps
- Never rely on the App as your sole source of emergency or survival information. Always carry appropriate safety equipment, inform others of your plans, and have reliable means of communication
Baseline Maps assumes no liability for any injury, harm, or death resulting from the application of survival techniques, instructional content, or educational materials provided through the App.
8. User Conduct
You agree that you will not:
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
- Violate any applicable local, state, provincial, territorial, national, or international law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the App
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the App or its infrastructure
- Use any automated system, bot, scraper, or data mining tool to access the App
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the App
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
9. Intellectual Property Rights

LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent. The App is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
10. User-Generated Content
You retain all ownership rights in content you create and submit through the App, including catch log entries, hunting journal entries, hunt notes, photos, trip notes, waypoints, forum posts, guide profile information, community-submitted photos, and feedback submissions ("User Content"). By submitting User Content to the App, you grant Baseline Maps a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services to you. For forum posts and community-contributed content (such as water access photos), you acknowledge that this content may be visible to other App users. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account. We will not use, sell, license, or distribute your User Content for any purpose other than providing the App's services unless we obtain your separate, express consent.
10A. Community Guidelines, Content Moderation, and Copyright Complaints
10A.1 Community Guidelines. The Community Guidelines shown in the App before you first post to the forum or Swipe feed are part of these Terms. By posting, you agree to follow them.
10A.2 Our right to moderate. We may, but are not obliged to, review User Content. We may remove, hide, edit, or refuse any User Content, and may suspend or terminate the account of any user, at any time and without notice, if we believe the content or the user breaks these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the law, or creates risk for us or other users. 15. Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL.
Agreement to Arbitrate: You and Baseline Maps agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the App, or your use thereof (collectively, "Disputes") shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring individual claims in small claims court if the claims qualify.
Arbitration Procedures: The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, or by another mutually agreed arbitration provider. The arbitration shall be conducted in King County, Washington, unless you and Baseline Maps agree otherwise. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND BASELINE MAPS AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING DISPUTES ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to info@getdriftline.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, mailing address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of this arbitration provision.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any Disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For any claims not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, and waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.
17. Force Majeure
Baseline Maps shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, epidemics, pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of governmental authorities, power outages, telecommunications failures, equipment failures, labor disputes, or third-party service provider failures.
18. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason or no reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, limitation of liability, and arbitration provisions.
You may delete your account at any time, either in-app (More → Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing info@getdriftline.com. When you delete your account, the data associated with your account is permanently deleted — including your account credentials and profile, catch and hunting log entries, trip and hunt notes, photos, saved waypoints, track recording data, forum posts and community-submitted content, alert configurations, and preferences. In-app deletion takes effect immediately for most data; a few record types are removed by us within 45 days, and AI request logs expire automatically within 12 months. Email deletion requests are processed within 3 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Only anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how deletion works and what is removed.
Note: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your app store subscription. If you have an active subscription, you must separately cancel it through your device's account settings (Apple ID on iOS, Google Play on Android) to stop future charges.
19. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part thereof at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. You agree that Baseline Maps shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App. If a modification materially reduces the functionality of a feature included in your active subscription, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify subscribers in advance.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
21. Waiver
No waiver of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. Our failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies published by us on the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and Baseline Maps regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
23. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or any of your rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be null and void.
